Description
If you’re looking for a high quality cue without a lot of fuss, the Schon CX01 custom pool stick is the perfect choice. Backed by Schon’s proprietary manufacturing techniques and incorporating fine woods and proprietary components, this cue definitely lives up to Schon’s tradition of excellence.
A stiff hit is generated by the piloted stainless steel joint and shorter shaft taper, which is made of hardrock maple. Moving up the cue, blonde Birdseye Maple on the forearm is decorated with beautiful white stained maple points and Cocobolo veneer inlays. The black Irish linen wrap with white specks leads to the sleeve, which is gorgeous cocobola wood. Three Balabushka style rings of ebony, Micarta and nickel silver complete the package.
In business since 1981, Schon employs a small in-house staff of full-time craftsmen who give great attention to quality. And because the cues are produced in smaller quantities, designer Evan Clarke is able to personally finish and test each cue, ensuring it stands up to the German meaning behind the name Schon…beautiful.
